JILAYNE RICKARDS – DESIGNER

Jilayne is a professional multi award winning garden designer based in Cornwall, UK.  With sustainability driving every design decision, her gardens reflect the encouraging movement towards reducing our environmental impact.  Often influencing clients and along the way, she carefully sources products by their carbon footprint, uses sustainable construction techniques and plants to increase biodiversity and support wildlife.

TECWYN EVANS, LIVING LANDSCAPES – LANDSCAPER

Living Landscapes are committed to sustainable and environmental construction practices, which has supported their long history in becoming BALI and RHS multi-award winners.  We are honoured to be constructing this wonderful show garden.  The sustainable ideals Jilayne wants for this garden are in line with our approaches towards landscape construction, waste management and material recycling, making this show garden a benchmark for environmentally aware builds at RHS shows and an inspiration to members of the industry and public.

CAROLINE BONHAM – DESIGN CO-ORDINATOR

Having come from a film production background, more recently Caroline has worked with Jilayne in the capacity of assistant and design co-ordinator on some of her projects, including the CAMFED Garden at Chelsea in 2019.  Inspired at an early age by the BBC wildlife documentaries, especially those of Sir David Attenborough, Caroline has a life- long passion for conservation and is thrilled to be working with Jilayne and FFI to bring this incredibly important conservation message to Chelsea in 2023.

VICTORIA LEGGE – PLANTING TEAM LEAD

Victoria Legge is a garden designer based in South East London / Kent border. Having previously helped Jilayne with her Gold medal winning CAMFED garden at Chelsea in 2019 Victoria is looking forward to joining the team as Planting Team Lead for this incredibly exciting project for Flora and Fauna International at RHS Chelsea 2023.

FAUNA & FLORA INTERNATIONAL : LIZ EATON, HEAD OF PHILANTHROPY

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show offers FFI an invaluable opportunity to raise awareness of our conservation work, while inspiring people to appreciate the biodiversity found in their own gardens and around the world. We couldn’t be more pleased to have a garden team aligned so closely to our charity’s values. Already, Jilayne, Caroline and Tecwyn have gone above and beyond to ensure our garden is as sustainable as possible – while making it look absolutely fantastic!
