I am very much looking forward to being part of FutureScape’s Detail is in the Design Panel on 17 November (http://futurescapeevent.com/2015-programme/) – a total think on your feet exercise where a room of visitors can ask all sorts of tricky questions!  These events are such a good thing for our industry, helping to encourage the public that their own garden can be so many wonderful things with just a bit of careful thought and planning.

It is very rewarding as a designer to be able to inspire people as to what they can achieve with their own space.  I was recently asked to be an Expert at Grand Designs Live in Birmingham was another think on your feet experience – completely exhausting but I felt privileged to be able to show people how they can transform their space with some simple tricks and at the same time extolling the virtues of employing a professional garden designer to ensure their wishes become reality.
