Press and VIP day at the CAMFED garden
See the CAMFED Garden being built at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show
This garden would not be anywhere near as brilliant if it weren’t for the generosity of our cross-industry donators and collaborators. I would like to thank them personally for their support, not just financially, but in giving time and expertise along the way.
It was great to see how International Women’s day, on 8th March, received extensive media coverage this year.
It’s all very well having the most exciting and interesting garden, but without a strong landscape team it simply won’t reach its full potential – these are the unsung heroes of show gardens.
Delighted to announce that we have just been allocated a larger plot size of 10m x 10m for our Chelsea Flower Show garden, and have been relocated closer to Main Avenue – do come and visit us on RHW/289
How can a designer put together a garden based on a place they haven’t been to? In order to design the CAMFED Garden I had to experience Africa for myself – the people, colours, sound, heat, vibrancy, plants and atmosphere.
To lift you out of the gloom of January, I thought you might like a sneak preview into the vibrant and colourful CAMFED garden.
Our medium sized plot will be packed full of energy and stories. It will be bright and colourful, positive and vibrant, as a direct response to my trip to Zimbabwe in 2018 and the inspirational people I met there.
